Miami Vice Confidential

Terms of Service

Effective and last reviewed: October 19, 2026

These terms explain the ground rules for using Miami Vice Confidential. By using the site, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

A guide, not a booking service

We publish local tips, travel guides, and event information. Prices, opening hours, schedules, availability, and safety conditions can change. Check directly with the venue or organizer before you travel or spend money. Our content is general information, not professional, legal, or safety advice.

We are not Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, a hotel, or a tour operator. A recommendation does not guarantee availability, admission, quality, or a particular experience.

Use the site respectfully

  • Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download our content or contact information without permission, except where applicable law allows it.
  • Do not spam our forms, submit misleading information, impersonate someone, or send unlawful or abusive material.
  • Do not bypass security, interfere with the site, upload malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not reproduce or commercially use our original content without permission, except for uses permitted by law.

We may block abusive submissions or restrict access to protect readers and the site.

Who owns the content and photos

Miami Vice Confidential owns its original writing, original photographs when created by us, and other original site content, except where otherwise identified. Copyright and other intellectual-property laws protect that work. Linking to our articles is welcome; copying entire articles or republishing them requires permission unless legally permitted.

Third-party photographs remain owned by their photographers and are used under the relevant Unsplash, Pexels, or other stated license. Visible credits link to their sources. We do not claim ownership of those photos, third-party logos, or trademarks, and using this site does not grant you rights to reuse them. Check the original license and any required permissions.

Miami Vice Confidential is an independent blog and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Miami Vice television franchise or its rights holders.

Bookings, sponsors, and applications

A booking made through an external link is between you and that provider. The provider’s terms govern payment, changes, refunds, cancellations, and disputes. Contact the provider directly if a reservation goes wrong. We do not collect your booking payment or control third-party services.

Some placements may be sponsored. Booking links are currently untracked placeholders; see our Affiliate Disclosure for the current status and how commissions work when activated.

The Thursday Drop is currently free. Applying to the Miami Confidential Circle is free, invitation/application only, and does not guarantee acceptance or a service. There is no active Circle checkout. Any future paid arrangement will require separately agreed terms; submitting a form does not create one.

Limits on liability

The site and its content are provided as available, without a guarantee that every detail is current, accurate, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for losses resulting from reliance on our content or the acts, omissions, cancellations, or failures of third-party hotels, booking platforms, tour operators, or other services.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses from using this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or other conduct that applicable law does not allow us to disclaim. Your mandatory consumer rights remain intact.

Florida law and Miami-Dade disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to the site or these terms will be handled in state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Mandatory laws or consumer rights may require a different venue or governing rule.

Before filing a claim, you are welcome to contact us at shadevarnick9@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue. This does not limit a right to seek legal relief.

Updates, privacy, and contact

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date is shown at the top; material changes will be communicated where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle newsletter signups, inquiries, and applications. For permissions, corrections, or questions, email shadevarnick9@gmail.com.
