A terrazzo-and-teal cocktail den behind an unmarked door.

No sign, no line, no nonsense. The Neon Palm hides behind a bodega freezer door on Flagler, and inside it's all terrazzo, rattan, and a glowing pink palm that's become the worst-kept secret among Miami bartenders.

The menu leans tropical without being touristy — think clarified piña coladas and a guava mezcal sour that regulars order by nickname. Go on a weeknight; weekends the secret is fully out.

Local tips

  • ✦Enter through the bodega on Flagler — ask for 'the freezer'.
  • ✦Weeknights only if you want a seat at the bar.
  • ✦Order the guava mezcal sour, off-menu.
